Collection: Utah Dragon Onyx

This uncommon variety of onyx is hand dug from Utah's extreme alpine terrain, high on a mountain ledge in Tooele County. The colors range from a greyish-silver, through various shades of translucent green, usually with golden-yellow highlights. There is also a much more rare variation of this onyx, from the same area, that has delicate silky bands of blue. This material carves very nice, takes a glassy polish, and makes fascinating jewelry.
